Vinu Jyothi - President of NC ACDIS
Vinu Jyothi, MBBS, MPH, CCDS is currently the director of physician clinical review at CorroHealth. Vinu has been with CorroHealth for the last 3 years, from physician reviewer to QA manager. Before CorroHealth, she worked as a CDI specialist for multiple hospital facilities including St. Mary’s Hospital NJ and Naples Community Hospital FL, and as a DRG auditor for MedReview and Cotiviti. Vinu obtained her medical degree from Madras Medical College, India, pursued her master’s in public health at UT Houston and is CCDS certified. She lives in Cary NC with her family and her current hobbies are traveling and learning a traditional Indian dance form.

Kimberly McNeill - Secretary of NC ACDIS
Kimberly McNeill is a dedicated nursing professional with over 29 years of experience, all of which she has spent at FirstHealth of the Carolinas Moore Regional Hospital. With 20.5 years of service in the neuro med-surg unit, Kimberly has developed a deep expertise in patient care. For the past 9 years, she has served as a Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist, leveraging her clinical knowledge to ensure accurate and effective documentation that enhances patient outcomes. In addition to her professional career, Kimberly is committed to community service and youth development. She has spent many years leading Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Boy Scouts, instilling values of leadership and teamwork in young individuals. As a Brotherhood member of the Order of the Arrow, she continues to support and inspire youth in their scouting journeys. Outside of work, Kimberly enjoys traveling, creating multimedia art, crocheting, and cherishing time with her children and cats. She is an active member of the American Nurses Association (ANA) and the North Carolina Nurses Association (NCNA), advocating for nursing excellence and the health of her community.

April Gentry - Treasurer of NC ACDIS
April Gentry BSN, RN, CCDS worked in clinical nursing for 22 years. She gained a lot of experience in many areas the nursing profession has to offer, including cardiac staffing pool, ICU, outpatient surgery, infection prevention, and outpatient cardiology. Her main area of expertise is in cardiac nursing. April became interested in advancing her career into the CDI field. She began her CDI career in the role of concurrent IP CDI at a rural hospital. She has experience in CDI auditing as well. Since 2020, April has been a part of the IP coding team for Duke University Healthcare System, Patient Revenue Management Organization (PRMO) as a Clinical Documentation Analyst (CDA). In this role, the focus is on the mortality and hospice patient population, and other clinically-based projects within the revenue cycle.
April lives in Western North Carolina and loves spending time with her family on her small farm. She enjoys being outdoors, photography, hiking, and traveling. She is looking forward to growing professionally as a part of NC ACDIS organization in the role of treasurer.


Amanda Bolding- Social Media Coordinator of NC ACDIS
Amanda Bolding RHIT, CCS, CCDS is a Compliance Specialist at Duke University Health System, with an emphasis on mortality/hospice charts and DRG reconciliation. She has been in the health information field for over a decade. In 2012, she attained a degree in Health Information Technology with an RHIT credential and began her career as an inpatient coder. Prior to her role at Duke, Amanda used her coding and clinical knowledge to work as a CDI specialist for several years, earning her CCDS from ACDIS in 2021. Amanda enjoys the clinical validation side of medical coding and is passionate about education and documentation integrity. She lives in Clayton, NC, with her husband, three kids, and two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys too many craft hobbies, quilting, and reading.

Kaitlin Boyle- Social Media Coordinator of NC ACDIS
Kaitlin Boyle RN, MSN, has been a Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist for Duke University Health System since July 2023. She has nearly 15 years of nursing experience within DUHS as a medical/surgical and intensive care nurse who also served as a Quality Improvement Specialist where she collaborated with hospital leadership. Kaitlin has collaborated with leaders across the hospital and utilized data analytics and lean methodologies to assess the highest needs for quality, safety, and financial improvement while coordinating experiments and new systems to improve outcomes. She completed her MSN in May of 2024 and looks forward to furthering her CDI knowledge and career by serving on the NC ACDIS board. When she is not running her 3 boys to their various activities, you will find her in a quiet spot of her home reading or doing a jigsaw puzzle.
